Whilst our new hospital is under construction the clinics at Breadstone and Willesley are fully equipped centres for the diagnosis and treatment of all medical and surgical conditions, injuries and diseases. The clinics provides specialist and emergency treatment for horses from all over the Southwest of England, South Wales and beyond. Full surgical, diagnostic and intensive care (including level 3 neonatal ICU) facilities are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are one of only a few clinics nationwide to have veterinary and nursing staff on site 24 hours a day.

We believe that to provide the best service you need experienced clinicians and caring support staff, not just fancy equipment. Orthopaedic cases are examined by Dr Svend Kold MRCVS, an RCVS specialist in orthopaedics and a pioneer in new treatments for degenerative joint disease, and by Oliver Crowe MRCVS. Ollie is the lead surgeon performing the majority of the orthopaedic and soft tissue procedures. He also has a special interest in minimally-invasive surgery.
Ollie is assisted by Chris Wright BVSc CertVR CertEM(Int.Med) MRCVS whose main interests are colic surgery and internal medicine. Ian Camm BVSc CertEP MRCVS completes the surgical team, Ians main interests are colic and emergency surgery.
Medical cases are seen by Richard Hepburn MRCVS, one of only a handful of ACVIM diploma holders working in the UK. Richard also oversees the clinic’s referral laboratory.
