We are agents for Paul Schockemohle, Team Nijhof, VDL Stud, Harras Couvains, Zucht Hof Klatte, French Stallions and many others.
Equine AI was established in 2000 to promote and market quality stallions from all over the world in the UK through chilled and frozen semen. From 2007 Equine AI has been run by Carol Brown based at Byams Farm, Willesley, Nr Tetbury, Gloucestershire. Chris Shepherd MRCVS is available to advise on all aspects of equine reproduction and in particular the suitability of your mare for artificial insemination.
Experience gained over the last 10 years enables us to efficiently co-ordinate the ordering, importing and delivery of semen for your mare. We will liase with your vet/stud to arrange delivery of the semen at the appropriate time, track the delivery, and ensure that the correct Animal Health Papers are included.

If you are having difficulties deciding which stallion to choose, then let us help. Send a copy of the breeding page from your mare’s passport, together with a photograph, and details of which attributes you are seeking to compliment her, ie; temperament, paces, bone, jumping scope etc. It would also help to know whether you intend to breed for show jumping, dressage or eventing. We will then help narrow your search and suggest suitable stallions.
