Charlotte Sinclair BVSc PhD CertEP CertES(Orth) FHEA MRCVS
Following graduation from Bristol University in 2000, Charlotte undertook an internship in equine practice to become an equine ambulatory vet. Subsequently she moved to the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) for a three year residency programme in equine practice and musculoskeletal sciences working with Professor Roger Smith. She was awarded RCVS certificates in Equine Practice in 2004 and Equine Surgery (Orth) in 2006. Her interest in tendon injury led to undertaking and publishing research on the effect of loading on the equine tendon.
She was awarded a PhD by the University of London for this work in 2010. From 2009 to 2012 Charlotte was employed as Staff Clinician in Equine Diagnostic Imaging at the RVC Equine Referral Hospital where she developed expertise in equine standing MRI and CT. Charlotte is an FEI Official Veterinarian for Eventing and she provides veterinary cover at national and international Horse Trials. After nine years working at the RVC Charlotte worked at a sports horse practice in Lambourn before joining B&W Equine Vets in February 2013, where she combines her particular interest in sports horses with all aspects of equine practice.
