Chaccothage Blue PS
Origin is the future. A look at the pedigree of this elite show jumper is enough to inspire: more performance assurance is hardly imaginable. His manner, his scope, his caution and his overall superiority put Chaccothage Blue PS in the spotlight as a sire.
His sire is our elite stallion Chacco-Blue, who was third in the Grand Prix of Aachen and won the Grand Prix of Neumünster. The success of his offspring placed him amongst the top ten of the world's best show jumping sires for the first time in 2015. Since 2017, he has led the ranking of the world breeding federation WBFSH. His most successful offspring include the Vice European Champion and Global Champions Tour winner Explosion W/Ben Maher/GBR, the European Team Champion Chaqui Z/Shane Sweetnam/IRL and Grand Prix winner Chacna/Enrique Gonzalez/MEX. The latter was one of eight of Chacco-Blue’s offspring who took part in the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon/USA. Almost 50 of his sons have been licensed.
His dam Conthina PS is successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions with Patrick Stühlmeyer. The first of her offspring, Londontimes PS (by London) and Chacoothargos PS (by Chacoon Blue), are winning young horse classes for show jumping horses.
The dam's sire Conthargos, who also stands at our stud, has produced numerous top horses. Tailormade Contou was third in the Grand Prix of Herzlake with Sören Pedersen/DEN, Conchento PS was placed second with Luciana Diniz/POR in the Grand Prix of Vilamoura/POR, Pia Contra won the Grand Prix of Leon/MEX with Nicolas Pizarro/MEX, Cosa Nostra won the 1.50m show jumping competition in Wellington/USA with Alberto Michan/ISR, Concollon PS was second in the Youngster Cup in Aachen with Laura Klaphake, Coolivio PS was unbeatable in the Irish Breeder Classics with Greg Boderick/IRL and Conceana PS was also placed with Gerriet Nieberg. He has also produced twelve licensed stallions, including our OS Champion Stallion Conthalou PS.
His grand-dam Leomitage was internationally successful in 1.45m show jumping competitions under her sport name Aloubette. She was sold at the P.S.I. auction in 2013 and produced other international show jumping horses such as Conmitage/Ugo Berrittella/BEL, Carmilou PS, Contharm/Benjamin Wulschner, TinTin (all by Conthargos) and Chamitage (by Chacco-Blue).
His great-grand-sire is the Argentinus son Armitage, who won 1.50m show jumping competitions with Marcus Ehning and later with Guido Klatte. The latter pair also won the gold medal at the German Junior Championships in 2011.
The great-grand-dam Leonie (sport name Baloubet's Lady) was placed in 1.35m show jumping competitions and produced Carlitus (by Cartogran), who was successful in the International Youngster Tour, and Chilonie (by Chilento)/Jonathan Gordon/IRL, who was placed in 1.40m show jumping competitions. Her daughter Cuba Libre Z (by Couletto) produced our Vice German Champion Messuletto PS OLD (by Messenger). Leonie also produced Sanletto (by Sanvaro)/Salvador Oñate/MEX. Her daughter Leonie's Girl (by Sandro Hit) produced Bubamara (by Clinton II)/Balázs Kruscó/HUN, a licensed stallion in Canada, as well as other show jumping horses. Her daughter Leonie Landa (by Lando) also produced several internationally successful show jumpers.
Baloubet du Rouet and Literat also appear in the pedigree.
The great-grand-dam Leona produced the licensed stallion Ukato (by Stakkato), who won the Grand Prix competitions in Dresden in 2010 and Hagen in 2011, as well as ten other show jumping horses.
Holstein line 5064, from which descend, amongst others, Calido I and II, Careful Paramount, Casaltino, as well as numerous other stallions and top show jumping horses.
