Alex Wood

Alex qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005 and joined Bushy Equine Vets in 2006. She attained the RCVS certificate in internal medicine in 2011.

In 2024 Alex was awarded an MSc in clinical animal behaviour from the University of Edinburgh, and she is a pre-certified clinical animal behaviourist.  She has extensive experience in dealing with a number of behavioural concerns and has a particular interest in how pain and stress can manifest and interact.

Alex enjoys all aspects of veterinary work and internal medicine and has a specific interest in dermatology, endocrinology and laminitis.
